Invoice Quick Start Guide
1. Press the Invoice or + button to create a new Invoice or Quote
2. Type in a Part or Item code
3. Tap in the Quantity field. You will then be asked if you wish to create the item
4. Create the item and tap Save
5. Enter the Quantity and tap Save (iPhone) or
on iPad
6. Tap Print and Email button (iPad) or
the action icon
(iPhone). The Customer list screen will
appear
7. Enter a Customer name in the Customer Name field or press + to add a new customer or select an existing Customer
8. Tap the SMS or Email or Printer icon.
1. Company information can be entered eg Name, address, 2 footer lines, logo (595 x 100 pixels), optional discount
2. Select the Customer by tapping ÔTap to select customerÕ button (or the customer name). For iPad or iPhone 5 and later.
3. When the Invoice has been paid tap
at the bottom of the Customer list
screen. This can be reversed: the Paid button top right changes to Update when
an Invoice has been marked as Paid.
4. In the Settings app there are options to enable a regular reminder to email the database for backup purposes, to request a Receipt number when invoices are paid by cheque or credit card, to change the GST rate, and to enable syncing the database with another device on the same wireless network.
5. Save the Invoice to iBooks or another app from the Action menu when the Invoice is displayed prior to printing
6. A Quote or Invoice can be printed, emailed or sent via SMS
7. The next Invoice number can be set on the Settings screen. This number will increase as new Invoices and Quotes are created.
8. New Customers can be created at any time: tap the Customers
button on the Settings page on iPad or
menu on iPhone.
9. New parts / jobs can be created or existing parts updated.
10. From the Settings
screen or
menu the app's database can be emailed
for backup purposes.
11. An index appears on the right of the Customers screen if there are more than 20 or 30 customers.
12. Monthly statements can be generated for any month in the past 3 years.
13. The GST rate can be set in Apple's Settings app (usually on the device's home screen).
14. On iPad use the search field to find an item by its description. Type any consecutive characters that are within the item's description.
15. Use the bar code scanner.
16. On iPad Cash Sales can be marked as paid and printed with a single tap.
17. Invoices and customers can be deleted by swiping right to left to reveal a red Delete button.
